“BLANK” HAS FINISHED ITS PREMIERE ENGAGEMENT!
Although reviews across he board were excellent, and crowds DID enjoy the play, we learned quickly that Los Angeles is definitely no longer even close to being the “theatre” town it once used to be.
Bruce Reisman’s last play produced in Los Angeles, a revival of his 1984 drama, ‘FIFTY MINUTES” played to SOLD OUT audiences for `10 weeks at the Whitefire Theater in Sherman Oaks. The year prior, Reisman’s original two character drama, “ARC LIGHT” featuring “Young and the Restless” Emmy winner CHRISTIAN LeBLANC and KEVIN KING, ran for 4 MONTHS!
However, “BLANK” will enjoy a future; as it was seen by several NY producers who have moved forward with plans to take Reisman’s play to Off-Broadway.
